Welcome to In Your Element Psychology. I am a Registered Psychologist based out of Calgary, Alberta. I have Masters degrees in both Counselling Psychology and Sport Psychology, and have previous work experience as a mental performance consultant and sport-science researcher. I take a client-centered and collaborative approach to help you to identify practical steps that align with your goals and incorporate research-backed therapy approaches into my work including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy.

I recognize the complexities of our human experiences and my approach emphasizes connection and understanding to help facilitate meaningful change. I work with teens and adults experiencing: anxiety, stress, depression, injury rehabilitation, concussion management, academic challenges, dance, music, and sport performance issues, concerns with confidence, relationship challenges, big life changes (moving, graduating, retiring from sport, career changes), burnout, identity exploration and development, motivation, focus, and perfectionism.
